MESSAGE HIGHLIGHTS

Two ministrations in one session. Prophet John Anokye taught the Genesis distinction between creation — the design conceived in the spirit — and making, the disciplined action that brings it into being, then on how knowledge determines the capacity to receive. Prophet Ebenezer followed with the power of mercy and an expository reading of Mephibosheth brought out of Lo-debar to the king's table.

“Thank God for the gift of men.”

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  1. 1

Creation is the blueprint the spirit conceives through meditation and revelation; making is the conscious effort and disciplined action that brings it into being. The design alone manifests nothing.

  2. 2

Flooding the mind with the Word causes truth to sink into the core spirit, which then radiates outward as a protective, commanding spiritual aura.

  3. 3

Knowledge determines capacity — without exposure you will settle for a basic provision, never knowing a higher specification exists.

  4. 4

The common denominator among the biblical hall of fame was the fear of the Lord, which produces integrity and prevents commercialising the prophetic.

  5. 5

God works through people. When He elevates you, eliminate pride and remember the mentors, wives, mothers and pastors who laboured for you in obscurity.

Creation and making, the spirit of prosperity, and the gift of men

8 PARTS · 5 STUDY QUESTIONS · 3 TERMS

Part 1 — Creation versus making (Prophet John Anokye)

Grounded in the Genesis order where God “created and made”. To manifest your highest potential — in ministry, business or family — you must understand the distinction.

  • Creation: the design. Advanced knowledge, an internal design, a pictorial blueprint view of what you want to achieve. The human spirit conceives the pattern through meditation, study and revelation.

  • Making: the implementation. Having the design alone does not guarantee physical manifestation. Making requires conscious effort, speaking the Word, and taking practical, disciplined action according to that design.

  • The office of the man. Build a visionary system of wisdom and management, anticipating challenges in advance — household reserves and emergency buffers so the family is sustained during unexpected crises.

  • The office of the woman. Move beyond the euphoria of current blessings or designer luxuries to plan for the future — financial reserves, investments and insurance through prayer and prudent foresight.

The spirit of prosperity and the core spirit

  • The spiritual database and aura. The spiritual realm responds to thoughts arising from the spirit man. Flooding the mind with God's Word on prosperity causes truth to sink into the core spirit. As that core spirit matures and expands through study and meditation, it radiates outward as a protective and commanding spiritual aura that negative influences cannot quench.

  • Knowledge determines capacity. Outer prosperity matches the prosperity of the soul and intellect. Someone with funds but no knowledge of vehicles settles for a basic car without realising higher specifications exist; an unexposed shopper in a luxury boutique cannot identify top-tier offerings. In the realm of the spirit, deep scriptural knowledge lets believers recognise and receive higher dimensions of God's provision rather than basic tokens.

  • Conception. Conception occurs when the spirit receives divine patterns, and happens rapidly when believers pray extensively in tongues. Cultivate the habit of holding a pen and notepad during prayer and meditation to record divine prompts immediately.

  • 3 John 2

The hall of fame and the fear of the Lord

  • Prophet John investigated spiritual patterns in his own lineage and countered negative trends by studying the biblical hall of fame — analysing how the patriarchs prayed, overcame limitations and conducted themselves, then adopting their spiritual vocabulary and habits.

  • The common denominator among great biblical figures was the fear of the Lord. Walking in it produces unshakable integrity, prevents commercialisation of the prophetic, and cements divine wisdom and love within the soul.

  • Beyond the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, believers are called to study and speak forth the glories that follow, grounding their identity in Christ's triumph.

Understanding prophetic directions

  • Some teachers dismiss prophetic actions in favour of general Word confession, but prophetic instructions are direct assignments from the Holy Spirit intended to activate faith quickly and produce rapid manifestation.

  • Balance deep Word study with swift obedience to prophetic directions given by the Spirit.

Part 2 — The mystery and power of mercy (Prophet Ebenezer)

  • The shield of mercy. Even when adversaries increase and declare there is no help for a believer in God, the Lord remains a shield, a glory, and the lifter of the head.

  • Mercy overrides accusations, satanic judgments, evil generational patterns, disappointment, stagnation and premature death.

  • Refusing to sing in a strange land. The captives were mocked to sing the songs of Zion by the rivers of Babylon. Chronic sickness, debt and humiliation are typologies of a foreign land. Believers will not sing songs of lamentation under oppression, but will see broken chains and enter seasons of vibrant joy.

  • He instructed the congregation to record a specific date in their phones by faith, decreeing it as an appointment for testimony, breakthrough and evidence.

  • Psalm 3
  • Psalm 137:4

Main sermon: thank God for the gift of men

  • God works on earth through human beings. Even when angels move supernaturally, physical manifestation requires men and women.

  • Against arrogance and ingratitude. When God elevates an individual, they must consciously eliminate pride and remember the people God used to assist them. Jealousy and spiritual friction often occur when rising leaders abandon and despise the elderly mentors, prayerful wives, mothers or faithful pastors who laboured for them during humble beginnings, in search of more popular associations.

  • The posture of the four lepers. Despite being ostracised, they prioritised rescuing their nation once they found abundance — gratitude and community must outweigh past hurts.

Mephibosheth: the names and the restoration

An expository breakdown of 2 Samuel 9:1-13 through the meanings of its names.

  • David. “Beloved” — a typology of God's love and of Christ Jesus.

  • Jonathan. “The gift of God” — divine grace and covenant.

  • Mephibosheth. “Shame” — the crippled grandson of Saul, living in obscurity and disgrace.

  • Ziba. “Graceful” or “beautiful” — the servant who connected the house of Saul to David.

  • Lo-debar. “A place of no word, no pasture, nowhere” — the barren location where Mephibosheth hid, devoid of pasture or prophetic utterance.

  • The movement. Because of the covenant between David and Jonathan, David actively sought someone to show kindness to for Jonathan's sake. Ziba — grace and beauty — arrived in Lo-debar with a word from the king. Mephibosheth was brought to Jerusalem, the city of peace; his clothes of shame and poverty were removed, his father's inheritance restored, and he was seated permanently at the king's table to eat as one of the royal sons.

  • 2 Samuel 9:1-13

The anchor of humility

  • Before ministering further, Prophet Ebenezer urged everyone to pray that God would add deep humility to every blessing, influence and elevation released during the conference.

  • Prophet John Anokye closed by likening the conference ministers to the four horns of the altar, blessing Prophet Ebenezer with expanded territory, divine protection and abundant helpers.

QUESTIONS TO SIT WITH

For personal study, or to take into a group.

  1. 1

You may have the design but not be doing the making. Which is missing in the thing you are believing for?

  2. 2

Knowledge determines capacity — where are you settling for a basic provision because you do not know a higher one exists?

  3. 3

Who laboured for you in your humble beginnings that you have quietly stopped honouring?

  4. 4

Where is your Lo-debar — the place of no word and no pasture that you have been hiding in?

  5. 5

What would it look like to ask God for humility in proportion to the elevation you are asking for?
